LIGHTNING BOLT COLLECTOR PIPELINER LIMITED SERIES EXHIBIT AT FLOW STORE
5 Collector Boards, 5 Shapers, 5 Countries, 5 Stores # SS17 Edition

Lightning Bolt invited five of the most unique, inspirational and legendary Bolt shapers to shape a surfboard that they personally find emblematic of the era. It took three years and a lot of courtesies to have a Collector Series of Pipeliners consisting of the most memorable Bolt boards of all time. Our mission is to show these masterpieces to the World.

After showcasing these boards as a full set at premium locations, Lightning Bolt is now exhibiting the Pipeliners at different retail shops separately in different countries.

Tell us a bit about the concept behind Flow Store…
Flow is a multi-experience store. It was born ten years ago, behind the thrust of the passion for research, the quality and the tradition that keeps pace with the times. This great work has allowed us to become a point of reference for the advent of works that are also gravitating around the Pitti world. Our concept is to combine tradition with those that are the trends of the moment

What does Lightning Bolt mean to you?
The world of surf has always fascinated me and made me dream and Lightning bolt is the utmost expression of it. The reason for our choice is because this brand combines the vintage flavor of the 1970s, revisited into a more modern and contemporary key.

If Barry Kanaiaupuni was in Florence, where would you take him?
I am lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Florence. I think it would be just a walk to the centre of the city to give Barry Kanaiaupuni the beauty of the glorious views of the Florentine alleys and make it a simple walk through a rich experience of emotions and pleasure.

We thank Gerry Lopez, Barry Kanaiaupuni, Tom Parrish, Rory Russell and Reno Abellira for this special collaboration. We’re humbled and grateful.
